Mt.Petersen Go-kart Track

The Go-kart track was built in 1995.

Wesley Charles commissioned the track, which he built himself with a grader. Tyres were placed near the corners so the go-karts don’t go off the track.

The track cost about $4700 to build it.

The track got its name because it is built at the base of Mt.Petersen and is used for racing go-karts.

A shed was built and is used for a canteen and a spectator’s area. Tall lights were installed to have night races in 2004

The go-kart track is located about 2 kilometres from Ma Ma Creek village then turn left into Neumann Rd.
